We are pleased to announce that we have started the roll out of hand held PDA's to all our drivers. we expect this project to be complete and fully operational by the 1st July 2012. The reason we are doing this is for the following reasons;

Keep our drivers up to date automatically and reap the rewards of sign-on-glass technology.

Using GPRS technology, manifests can be passed to vehicles and viewed on a hand-held device. The consignment and vehicle progress can then be monitored in real-time, and tracked by our customers from our website.

Manifests are sent directly from the Manpack3 load screen and an icon on the load tells traffic planners that instructions have been received and confirmed by the driver.

Jobs can be selected and updated by either using the on screen menus or the barcode scanning option. Progress and status changes, including dates and times are automatically received and processed in Manpack3 and on the web. POD and conformance details are also automatically linked. This provides for a planned versus actual execution of the work being done with date and time stamps at each status change.
